Brief History What had begun in a small office in Santa Ana has expanded into a growing success story. History of Interactive Data & Telephone During the mid 80's, IDT recognized there was a growing market for telecommunications. Not only did IDT see a need for technical assistance but customer service as well. IDT benefited from these years by establishing a solid clientele base. Soon after, IDT experienced a baffling downward trend in our sales. We struggled to understand why this was. IDT was offering the same great product at a competitive pricing. Through market research IDT came to the conclusion that the telecommunications market wasn't the same as when we had started. Realizing the drastic shift in the marketplace toward customer service, IDT immediately embarked on a major transformation towards the market trend and restructured the company to simultaneously offer the best product on the market and provide customer service that stands unequaled amongst our competitors to this day.
